The Value of the Human Touch

Technology can only take you so far. Financial advisors need to achieve the right balance of tech and human interaction for a successful client experience.

Today’s technology can deliver everything from a raw data dump to meaningful client presentations. Technological advances have also made it possible to deliver more information to clients more efficiently than ever before. It’s a development that has many benefits but also one great potential drawback: a reduction in the amount of personal contact between advisors and their clients.

Read our Barron's article on how to retain a human touch as you roll out the latest technological solutions for clients:

   •  The best technology is only as good as what the client can digest
   •  Information delivered in an automated way might appear as a one-size-fits-all solution
   •  Technology cannot distinguish good information from bad
   •  Technology cannot have discussions
